Of course I had to share the JnB Met experience... in full colour! January 30 was a dose of beauty, fashion and it was fueled with horse power. I am not one for horse racing but my bets were confidently set on Pocket Power; cannot really elaborate!

Now on what I know damn well! The kaleidoscope of colours that filled the Kennilworth Race Course in the Mother City, are not to be forgotten. Jeannie D was just about the only one who did not seem to get the memo - she wore a morbid yet stunning vintage frock from her label launched in November of 09, titled 'www by Jeannie D'.

Former Boom Shaka group member, actress and presenter, Thembi Seete won the most glamorous couples award. She wore a blue, feathery, A-line, boob tube dress. All props have to go to a dear mentor of mine Gert Johan Coetzee. Gert is the brainchild behind Uyanda Mbuli's DFC Diamond Face Couture. Word on the street has it that the duo no longer work together. Between you and me Gert has a long way to go and he is super talented. Watch this space!
